Septic System Questions

Septic system costs vary significantly based on system type, tank size, drainfield requirements, and soil conditions on your property. A conventional system typically costs less than an alternative system. We provide free on-site estimates so you know exactly what to expect for your specific situation.

A typical residential septic installation takes 2-5 days for the actual construction work. However, the permit process with DHEC typically takes 2-4 weeks before work can begin, and soil testing may be required before that.

Warning signs include: slow draining sinks and toilets, sewage odors in your yard or home, wet or soggy areas over your drainfield, unusually green grass over the drainfield (while the rest of the yard is dry), and sewage backups into your home. If you notice any of these, contact us for an evaluation.

Yes, we coordinate the entire permit process including soil testing arrangements, system design, permit applications, and scheduling required inspections. We're familiar with DHEC requirements and ensure your system meets all regulations.

Land Clearing Questions

Land clearing costs depend on vegetation density, terrain, tree sizes, and access to the property. Light brush clearing costs less than heavily wooded land with large trees. We provide free on-site estimates to give you an accurate quote for your specific property.

All cleared material is properly disposed of. Trees and brush may be chipped on-site, burned (where legally permitted), or hauled to appropriate disposal sites. Stumps can be ground or removed. Your property is left clean and ready for the next phase.

Permit requirements vary by county and municipality. Some areas require land disturbance permits for clearing more than a certain area, or tree removal permits for large trees. We can advise you on local requirements for your project.
